Inspirational Leadership

This is a one day workshop for inspirers from throughout the organization which is offered as a follow-on from the initial Purposing.

The primary outcomes of this workshop will be individual plans for personal inspirational development.

Inspirational Leadership Development	An introduction to the theory and practice of inspirational leadership. How everyone can learn to be more inspirational. An Inspirational Leadership Development plan.
Sustainability leadership	Sustainability leadership is about making the world a better place through business.  We explore how sustainability is performance enhancing  for profit, people and the planet.  People want to make a difference and are inspired by the opportunities to do so.
Character	Inspiration leadership is built on character.  We explore the character traits and attributes that are prerequisites for inspirational leadership, and consider how these can be developed and exemplified.
Inspirational Communication	Empathy and engagement in communication are the hallmark of an inspirational leader.  We inspire through communication.  This segment explains the essence of inspirational communication and provides people with personalised feedback  and recommendations on their propensity for inspirational communication.
The Inspirer	This is the cornerstone segment of the workshop.  We explore Inspirational Ways and Plays – the way leaders inspire, and how this plays out in the organisation.  Personalised feedback is provided on  8 concepts of Inspirational leadership –  inspiring and involving with people, seeking others out to interact with them, innovating; shaping and sharing the purpose, steering the organisation in the direction of purpose and sustaining momentum when the going gets tough.
Reframing	Reframing is a powerful communication discipline that enriches positivity.  The meaning of any behaviour or event exists in relationship to the context in which it occurs.  Perceived negative situations or behaviours are reframed to  show how they can be a positive response or opportunities in a different context.  Inspirers are experts at positive reframing. We explain how.
Storytelling	Stories enable us to connect emotionally with people beyond facts and figures.  We explain the art and objectives of organisational storytelling and provide people with a storytelling toolkit.  Personalised feedback is provided on individual storytelling styles and how these may be enhanced.

Preparation for the workshop involves the completion of web based tools which will enable participants to reflect on all aspects of their inspirational leadership. Personalized feedback is provided and there is the opportunity in the workshop and subsequently for discussions with the facilitators to develop an inspirational leadership development plan.
